Hosting Audition Tapes with Teleprompter

How does this work?
We'll handle the prep! Just send us your lines when you’re booking, and we’ll input them into our teleprompter software and set up our teleprompter and one of our readers will adjust the prompter settings for your taping session. All you have to do is familiarize yourself with your audition, show up, and give your best read!
This service is NOT for theatrical self-tapes requiring an eyeline adjacent to camera!

FAQs

  • Need a fast turnaround? No problem! Book a 30-minute session, tape for 20-minutes, and leave us the last 10-minutes to edit - for no extra charge! No charge for re-edits! Tape will be transmitted upon completion. Standard turnaround window is 1-2 hours.

  • All taping and coaching sessions include 2 takes per scene, if requested. Additional takes per scene will be invoiced at a rate of $5 per take.

  • All files will be edited with fade transitions between scenes and sent to your email via WeTransfer. (Please note we do NOT upload to casting sites or send to representation/casting.) If you need help downloading your file once sent to you, please click here.

  • We do not upload to Actor's Access, nor do we send directly to representatives or casting. In order to keep our prices as low as possible, we do not have the support needed to upload client's auditions and handle potential troubleshooting issues related to uploading or transmission. Thank you in advance for your understanding.   • Truthfully, transferring raw files takes a LOT longer than our normal editing process and we just can't accommodate the time it would take to transfer. Plus, we don't give out raw, unedited footage. We don't allow clients to bring their own SD card because of potential compatibility issues with our equipment. We are happy to give you separate clips for you to piece together, if that is your preference, but we will process them through our editing software for QC and for rapid WeTransfer transmission.

  • * Reschedules and Cancellations can be made with greater than 6-hours notice of your appointment time - just use the “Change/Cancel” link in your booking confirmation email. Cancellations made more than 12 hours prior to appointment will be fully refunded and refunds are processed back through Paypal to the client in 1-2 business days. Cancellations made less than 12 hours prior to the appointment will forfeit the full session fee. **Absolutely no exceptions.**

    * We allow up to 2 reschedules of all scheduled appointments respective of rescheduling time limits. We do not allow rolling appointments. Appointments rescheduled more than twice will be canceled and refunded.

    * There is no grace period. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late to appointment with notice may be permitted to tape, depending on audition length. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late without providing us notice will not be permitted to tape.

  • If you don't see available appointment times for today or on your desired date we're most likely completely booked. Feel free to shoot us a message here and we'll let you know if anyone cancels so you can jump in and book that slot!

  • No, we do not.

  • All of our staff for in-person services are vaccinated. Additionally, we are continuing to tape from inside an airtight booth and we will wear a mask if we have cause to exit the booth at any point during sessions. We are cleaning high-contact surfaces and sanitizing the room air with a UVC light.
